Horizons

Mini Spotlights

Mini-Spotlights or program previews are held throughout the state. These offer a sample of some of the activities that occur during the 18 months of Horizons, basic information about community eligibility and the program itself. Each community is required to have at least 5 people in attendance. Once the community understands the program requirements and meets eligibility (population less than 5,000 and poverty rate greater than 10%) they may apply for the program. The community application must be submitted with at least 30 signatures of people who represent a broad cross section of the community.
