Community Visioning
What is the Community Visioning Process?
The community visioning process brings together the many ideas and skills generated during Study Circles and LeadershipPlenty®. During this segment, communities create their own visioning and planning process, engaging the broader community in mobilizing, creating and adopting a shared vision and a plan for poverty reduction. At least 15 percent of the total community is expected to participate in this process. Community members are encouraged to broaden their leadership pool by identifying and recruiting participants from all parts of the community, paying particular attention to low-income people.
